Adoration speaks to our connections with each other, with our family history, with technology and with the modern world. Sabine (Arsinée Khanjian), a French high school teacher gives his class a translation exercise based on a true story of a terrorist who plants a bomb in the luggage of his pregnant girlfriend. The assignment has a profound effect on a student Simon (Devon Bostick) who lives with his uncle (Scott Speedman). During the translation, Simonreimagines the message is his family history, associated with the terrorist for his father. Years ago, his father Simon fell (Noam Jenkins), the family car, killing him and his wife (Rachel Blanchard), so that Simon is an orphan. Simon had always feared that the incident was intentional. Simon reads his version of the class and then takes to the Internet. In essence, a false identity, which allows him to set his family's secret probe.
